Director & Lead Naturalist
Natalie grew up in the Los Angeles area, where she explored meadows, woodlands, and beaches as a child.
(Actually, the meadow was a vacant lot behind the liquor store, but it served the same purpose.) After raising two awesome kids and obtaining a bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from Oregon State University, she moved to Arizona, where she obtained a master's degree in education from Arizona State University and a reading specialist endorsement from the Arizona Department of Education.
Natalie has worked as an outdoor science instructor in California and as a K-8 teacher in Arizona. She enjoys wildlife, gardening, writing, and learning all about the natural world around her.
